“I am an oil painter by trade exploring my culture through still life painting. Typically I create artworks inspired by well-known objects in Mexican culture, typically sweets like pan dulces or beloved candies, but also artesanal crafts like alebrijes and ceramics.

Recently I have expanded my work by experimenting with other media such as printmaking and drawing, however, I have continued to be inspired by what objects we can affectionately recognize in our day to day.”
